We will first take some X-rays and examine the state of the tooth. If there is indeed a cavity, we will schedule an appointment for a filling.
During the filling procedure, we will first apply anesthetic to the area. Once your mouth is comfortably numb, we will remove any tooth decay to prepare for the filling.
A composite-resin filling is created from a special dental-grade plastic which can be perfectly shaded to match the adjacent tooth enamel. Once this filling has been applied and shaped to match the surrounding tooth enamel, Dr. Ravi Aulakh will use a special ultraviolet light to harden it and ensure a strong bond.
